The JPO decided to extend the period of the PPH pilot program with China for one year. That is, the term of the PPH pilot program with China has been extended to October 31, 2013.

As of November 1, 2012, when filing a request for the PPH pilot program, it is no longer necessary to submit copies of the office actions and copies of claims that have been determined to be patentable, if these documents are published in the SIPO’s dossier access system.
