This design relates to connecting materials attached to the ends of a crossbar used for scaffolding. Although the “one design for one application” rule is applicable to partial designs as well, if functional unity (or formal unity) can be found among plural designs in a design application, such designs may be registered as one design.
This design relates to a foldable container. The hinges permit the sides to be folded inward. A design application for the designs of the hinges has been allowed for registration.
This design relates to a fastener connecting a base of a nail cutter and its lever. The designs of grooves on the sides have been registered as a partial design. What is unique in this case is that the subject of the design is the shape of the grooves as shown in cross-sectional view A-A and the cross- sectional view B-B. The grooves are formed by space, not material. Moreover, as long as the article is traded independently, even if small, like this example, it can be the subject of design registration.
